1. Expansion joints provide great convenience for the installation, removal, and replacement of various water supply and drainage pipelines, water towers, water pumps, water meters, and valves. Thermal expansion joints play a good role in regulating long-distance pipelines due to temperature differences.
2. The inner pipe materials of thermal expansion joints are divided into three types: cast iron thermal expansion joints (HT), galvanized thermal expansion joints (DX), and steel thermal expansion joints (SF). There are three types of work pressure: PN6, PN10, and PN16.
Before installing the thermal expansion joint, the pressure plate bolts must be loosened, the thermal expansion joint should be pulled to the installation length, and then tightened diagonally without deviation. If used overhead, corresponding fixed brackets must be installed at both ends.  

Precautions for installation of thermal expansion joint:
1. Before installing the thermal expansion joint, loosen the pressure plate bolts, extend the expansion joint to the installation length (see table below), and then tighten the bolts diagonally without any deviation.  
2. The thermal expansion joint should be installed between two fixed brackets on the straight section of the pipeline. To ensure the normal expansion and contraction of the thermal expansion joint and prevent it from pulling off, guide brackets and stoppers should be provided.
