The axial outward pressure corrugated compensator mainly absorbs axial displacement and has the advantages of large compensation amount, good insulation performance, and the ability to eliminate residual media.  

Calculation of the force exerted on the support by the axial outward pressure corrugated compensator:
Example: One carbon steel pipeline with a nominal diameter of 500mm and a working pressure of 0.6MPa; The medium temperature is 350 ° C, the minimum ambient temperature is -10 ° C, the installation temperature is 20 ° C, the pipeline length is as shown in the diagram, and the fatigue failure frequency is required to be 3000 times. To install an external pressure compensator, calculate the force exerted by the compensator on the support.
The general installation position of the axial outward pressure corrugated compensator is as follows (as shown in the figure):


Solution: (1) Thermal deformation calculation: △ L=a · t · L=0.0133 × 360 × 30=143.6mm
(2) According to the usage conditions and thermal deformation calculation data, 0.6TWY500 × 8F, N=3000 times can be selected for sample inspection,
X0=192mm Kx=272N/mm。 (Without pre deformation)
(3) A and B pipe supports are subjected to axial force:
Internal pressure thrust: Fp=100 · P · A=100 × 0.6 × 3167=190020N
Axial elasticity: Fx=Kx · X \ 272 × 143.6=39059.2N
Fz=Fp+Fx=190020+39059.2=229079N
