The HRM-45DT Ⅱ surface Rockwell hardness tester uses a fully imported LCD digital display instead of a pointer dial, eliminating reading and operation errors, improving display accuracy and repeatability accuracy. The machine adopts an automatic loading and unloading test force mechanism, equipped with a potentiometer that can adjust the total test force holding time. Test principle of surface Rockwell hardness
The surface Rockwell hardness test method uses a diamond cone indenter or a ball indenter of a certain diameter to press the specimen under the action of initial test force and principal test force successively. After the total test force is applied, the principal test force is removed for a certain period of time, and the permanent increment of indentation depth is represented by the difference between the indentation depth at the initial test force and the indentation depth at the initial test force. Each 0.001mm indentation is a surface Rockwell hardness unit. The characteristics of this type of test are fast hardness testing speed, low testing force, leaving small indentations, and generally not affecting the normal use of the parts, so it is widely used as a means of testing the hardness of parts.
