The EN-743 acid leakage (breakage) alarm is used for acid leakage alarm in the cooling system of sulfuric acid plants. At the same time, it can also be used for the acid cut-off alarm of the upper tower acid in the closed acid washing purification process. This instrument adopts the principle of conductivity operation. The circuit uses complementary composite tubes as phase sensitive amplifiers. When the instrument is used for acid leakage detection, the electrode is placed in cooling water. If there is no acid leakage, the electrode resistance will be high, and the potential difference between the two ends of the bridge will be reversed with the power supply voltage, causing the complementary transistor to cut off due to reverse bias. When acid leakage occurs, the electrode resistance decreases, and the potential difference between the two ends of the bridge is in phase with the power supply voltage. The composite tube is in a forward bias and saturated, and the instrument emits an alarm signal. When the instrument is used for acid cut-off detection, the electrode is placed in the purified acid tube. When the acid is normal, the electrode resistance is small, and the potential difference at both ends of the bridge is in reverse phase with the power supply voltage. The composite tube is in reverse bias and cut off; When the acid is cut off, the electrode resistance increases, and the potential difference at both ends of the bridge is in phase with the power supply voltage. The composite tube is in a forward bias and saturated, and the instrument emits an alarm signal.
