Scope and Application
The QC810-60 mining explosion-proof and intrinsic safety electromagnetic starter (hereinafter referred to as the starter) is suitable for use in coal mines or industrial and mining enterprises with explosive gas mixtures (methane) and coal dust. It is mainly used to directly or remotely start or stop mining explosion-proof three-phase squirrel cage induction motors with rated voltage of 660V and below, frequency of 50Hz, and rated current up to 60A, and can change direction when stopped.
The starter shall be designed, manufactured, and inspected in accordance with relevant standards such as GB3836 and GB5590.

Overview of the Structure of QC810-60 Mining Explosion proof and Intrinsic Safety Magnetic Starter
The starter consists of two main parts: a cylindrical explosion-proof shell and a main body. The shell is divided into two independent explosion-proof parts: the junction box and the main chamber.
The cylindrical explosion-proof shell is installed on the trailer to facilitate underground transportation. There is a reliable mechanical interlocking device between the cover and the isolation reversing switch. Only when the stop button on the housing is pressed, the isolation reversing switch is rotated to the stop position, and the interlocking rod is rotated completely away from the flange plane of the housing, can the cover be opened. After the cover is opened, the isolation reversing switch cannot be closed.
The main body is a drawer type core frame structure, and all electrical components are mounted on a withdrawable core frame for easy maintenance. The core frame is mainly equipped with:
CJ10-60 three-phase AC contactor, used to close and disconnect the main circuit;
JR16B-60/3D thermal relay, used for overload and phase failure protection;
Three phase isolation reversing switch, used for isolating power supply or reversing in case of power failure;
BKC-100 type step-down transformer, with a transformation ratio of 380 and 660V/36V;
RM10-200 type fuse, with melt current of 100A, 125A, 160A or 200A;
Intrinsically safe circuits.
