HZD, HZDZ, HTZ, HZDSPZ electric slag furnace transformer

Overview:
Electric slag furnace is used to remelt and refine steel produced by ordinary smelting methods, and generally uses single-phase power supply.

Purpose:
Specially designed for the production of aviation steel, high-temperature alloys, resistance table metals, precision alloys, and certain non-ferrous metals. It can also be used to produce large high-quality alloy steel ingots, large flat ingots or slabs, and other special shaped castings for electric slag furnace power supply.

Structural features:
The electric slag furnace transformers have no reactors. Electroslag metallurgy is different from electric arc steelmaking. When using electrodes and auxiliary steel chips to initiate arc slagging, there is only an arc in the initial stage. After slagging is completed, it transforms into a basically arc free electric slag process, which continues until the end of smelting. The transformer of the electric slag furnace power supply requires low no-load voltage and small impedance voltage. The low voltage of the electric slag furnace transformer should have a regulating stage. The voltage regulation methods include: 1. Non excitation and no-load voltage regulation; 2. Excitation without load voltage regulation; 3. On load voltage regulation. Regardless of the voltage regulation method used, it is adjusted through the switch on the high-voltage coil.
