1. Product Introduction
Scott transformer is a special transformer that converts three-phase power into two-phase or single-phase power, mainly to solve the balance problem of three-phase primary current and improve the efficiency of three-phase transformers in industrial and mining enterprises. The structure and capacity of the low-voltage winding are the same as two ordinary single-phase transformers of the same capacity. This product is suitable for situations where two single-phase loads are equal.
2. Product Features
Scott transformers are usually composed of two single-phase transformers. By connecting the end of one transformer's high-voltage winding to the center of another high-voltage winding, a "T" - shaped three-phase high-voltage winding can be formed. Each low-voltage winding is a simple single-phase winding with no electrical connection between them. Their voltage and current are the same as those of a regular single-phase transformer, but the current of each high-voltage winding is different from that of a regular single-phase transformer.
