1、 Overview:
The SYG-0A type lifting capacity limiter (hereinafter referred to as the limiter) is a safety protection device used to limit the lifting capacity on lifting equipment such as electric hoists and wire rope direct hoists. This device consists of a controller and sensors, which can display the weight of the lifted object and prevent personal accidents. Therefore, it is of great significance for modern safety production in industries such as metallurgy, mining, docks, and warehousing.

2、 The main features of the limiter are:

3.3 Alarm mode:
(1) Pre warning point: When the lifting weight reaches 90% of the rated lifting weight, an intermittent alarm sound will be emitted, and the green indicator light will be on, indicating the weight of the heavy object
(2) Rated value alarm: When the lifting weight reaches 100% of the rated lifting weight, a intermittent alarm sound will be emitted again, and the yellow indicator light will be on to display the weight of the heavy object
(3) Immediate alarm: When the lifting weight reaches 105% of the rated lifting weight A continuous alarm sound is emitted again, the red indicator light is on, and after a delay of 2 seconds, the power supply of the lifting contactor of the crane is automatically cut off, while the weight of the heavy object is displayed

4、 Working principle:
The weight of the heavy object lifted by the lifting machinery is detected by a resistance strain sensor, and the physical weight is linearized and converted into an analog electrical signal, which is sent to an amplifier for amplification. Then, it is A/D converted into a digital signal and sent to the microcontroller for processing and display on a digital screen. At the same time, the weight measured by the microcontroller is compared with the preset rated load. When the weight of the heavy object reaches the rated load, the limiter emits an alarm sound to remind the operator to pay attention. Finally, when the immediate alarm point is reached, in addition to emitting a continuous alarm sound, the relay inside the limiter acts to immediately cut off the overhead contact power supply of the crane, and the crane stops working in an unsafe direction, but does not affect the action of other mechanisms to achieve load protection
5、 Installation and debugging:
5.1 Installation of sensors: The lateral pressure sensor is hung on the upper end of the static rope of the electric hoist;
5.2 Installation of Controller: The controller can be installed on the manual control door or in the driver's cab according to different needs. The sensor and controller are connected by a four core shielded cable, which is pre installed at the factory or can be customized according to user requirements. When in use, connect the five core plugs at both ends of the wire to the five core sockets on the amplifier and display.
5.3 Connection: The weight limiter adopts a four core cable, with two wires (black and brown) marked with "power" connected to a current of 380V, which is the power line of the limiter. The two wires marked with "normally closed" (yellow green, blue) are connected in series in the lifting contactor circuit.
Attention: The power supply voltage is 380V. The control contacts are normally closed.
5.4 Instrument setting instructions: Users can also set their own alarm instrument control and control points according to their needs.
