X43F46-150LB plug valve:
A plug valve is a valve that uses a plug body with a through-hole as the opening and closing member, and achieves the opening and closing action through the rotation of the plug body and valve stem.
Product Introduction: Plug valves have a simple structure, quick opening and closing, and low fluid resistance. In recent years, as one of the earliest valves adopted by people in history, they have not been replaced by ball valves and other types of valves. On the contrary, the market is showing an increasingly popular trend.
1、 Plug valve series
There are two types of plug valve series:
1. X43F4 type: a sealing pair composed of a specially designed valve seat liner (PTFE or para polystyrene) and a steel plug body; The plug body is made of stainless steel (without lining)
2. X43F46 type: All valve bodies and plug passages are lined with FEP on the surface. And based on the basic types mentioned above, the inner lining PFA, PCTFE, and a new material of para oriented polystyrene with a temperature of up to 300 ℃ for embedding valve seats are extended to meet various working conditions.
The X43F4 and X43F46 self-lubricating plug valves have unique rocker arm adjustment devices and ideal plug cone angle designs, good sealing performance, long service life, and the advantage of sealing both the inlet and outlet ends simultaneously. Throughout the entire working process, the sealing pair has a low friction coefficient, the plug body operates flexibly, and lubrication is never required.
3. X6D3F and X6C3F types: Plug valves with butt welding and socket welding ends connected based on X43F4, with a maximum pressure rating of ANSI 900Lb.
2、 Structural characteristics of X43F46-150LB plug valve
1. The inlet and outlet windows of the valve body are designed with a double groove sealing ring structure. During the rotation of the plug, the sealing pressure between its sealing pairs gradually changes until it reaches the fully open or fully closed position, generating sufficient sealing pressure and achieving zero leakage of the sealing pairs.
2. The double groove sealing ring can stabilize the PTFE liner inside the valve body without displacement, and can also absorb the slight deformation caused by temperature differences in the liner. At the same time, it has a strong wiping effect between the liner and the plug, which also improves the service life of the sealing surface.
3. The upper part of the plug shaft is equipped with a PTFE diaphragm and O-ring combined with an adjusting gasket, which can adjust the sealing pressure between the sealing surfaces, make the plug rotate flexibly, and ensure the sealing of the inlet and outlet ends and the middle flange connection end.
4. The entire sealing process can be approximated as independent of the pressure inside the pipeline.
5. PTFE lining is filled with different materials according to the operating temperature and working medium, ensuring good lubrication and long service life.
