The ZKY-2000 vacuum degree tester is a device for evaluating the vacuum degree of a vacuum arc extinguishing chamber. It uses a single-chip computer as the main control unit, and the testing process is fully automated. The sampling design of this instrument has changed from the previous method of using peak current for calibration to using ion charge for calibration. In this way, the interference of transient power supply during the testing process is effectively suppressed, making the testing stable and reliable. Due to the use of a computer as the main control unit, this instrument can easily deduct the leakage current caused by environmental factors. The most prominent feature of the vacuum degree tester is that it realizes the non disassembly measurement of the vacuum extinguishing chamber, directly displays the vacuum degree value, and enables the user of the vacuum circuit breaker to have a detailed understanding of the vacuum status of the extinguishing chamber, providing a reliable basis for planned replacement of the extinguishing chamber and a strong guarantee for the safe operation of the power grid. It overcomes the defect of the power frequency withstand voltage method that can only judge whether the extinguishing chamber is scrapped.

Test Principle
Pull the two contacts of the arc extinguishing chamber apart by a certain distance, apply pulse high voltage, and collide with residual gas molecules to ionize. The ion current generated is approximately proportional to the residual gas density, that is, the vacuum degree. For different vacuum tubes, the magnitude of ion current varies under the same vacuum conditions. After measuring the ion current, the computer automatically calculates the vacuum degree through the ion current vacuum degree curve and displays the vacuum degree value.
