To ensure the safety of personnel and equipment, and to ensure the integrity of the voltage tester, it should be stored in a well ventilated and dry environment. Electrical testers must undergo regular preventive tests every six months according to regulations. The whole set of starting voltage test, current limiting rod withstand voltage test, and its test structure should comply with the technical specifications. Before preventive testing, a visual inspection should be carried out. When obvious defects such as defects in the shell of the voltage tester or cracks in the insulation rod are found, it is not suitable to conduct the test.
