LCS is a conical sealed threaded shuttle valve. When the pressure at port A is higher than that at port B, the oil at port A pushes the steel ball to port B, preventing the oil from port A from flowing to port B and connecting port A with port B. On the contrary, port B is connected to port C and port A is closed. This valve is used to connect the C port with the higher pressure oil ports in A and B ports, and seal the lower pressure oil ports.
