The GJT100G (A) high concentration methane sensor (hereinafter referred to as the sensor) is developed to meet the needs of detecting high and low concentration methane in coal mine gas pipelines in China. The sensor can measure and display the methane concentration in the gas pipeline in real time, and generate sound and light alarm signals and power-off signals according to the concentration value, and output RS485 digital signals corresponding to the methane concentration. In addition to being used in conjunction with our KJ70N coal mine monitoring system, sensors can also be independently used in various mining fire detection systems.

Environmental requirements for the use of GJT100G (A) high concentration methane sensor
The sensor should be able to function properly under the following environmental conditions:
a) Environmental temperature: (0~+40) ℃;
b) Humidity: ≤ 98%;
c) Atmospheric pressure: (80-106) kPa;
d) In situations where there is no significant vibration, impact, or water splashing;
e) Wind speed: (0-8) m/s;
f) There is an explosive gas mixture of methane in coal mines, but there is no corrosive gas that can damage insulation.

Power off point: (0.5-100)% CH4 can be set arbitrarily (factory setting is 1.5% CH4). When the power is turned off and the output is in a high-level state, the current pulled out is 2mA and the voltage is not less than 3V. When the output is in a low-level state, the voltage is less than 0.5V.
