The Z-1200 handheld direct reading instrument is a measuring and analyzing instrument for measuring ozone concentrations ranging from 0 to 10 ppm in the air (with a resolution of 0.01 ppm). This model has a LCD display screen, low battery indicator light, and a sound alarm that can be set to any standard within the range. The LCD screen outputs the current ozone concentration every 10 seconds, the highest measured value, the average value over the past 15 minutes, and the average value over the past 8 hours, which can be viewed at any time. The optional data storage device stores all measurement points used each time and can be downloaded to a personal computer through software.

Z-1200 is a unit that uses electrochemistry in measuring components. Each unit uses four types of electrodes and includes a working electrode and an active compensating electrode. The signal uses temperature compensation through compensating electrodes to improve the selectivity of the entire sensor, which can measure the concentration of ozone gas in the air in a straight line.
