This sensor is used to detect the actual position of the EGR valve, output corresponding voltage signals to the controller, and the controller judges whether the valve responds correctly to the controller's instructions based on this. At the same time, its signal input is also the basis for the engine controller to calculate the exhaust gas recirculation flow rate.
