HZQS-03A Speed Impactor Monitoring Device
Speed is an important operational monitoring item for steam turbine units, and the emergency governor is one of the main components in the security system. When the unit speed reaches 110% of the rated speed, the emergency governor impactor is hit out by centrifugal force, which can cause the turbine to shut down urgently. Before the new unit is put into operation and each unit overhaul is connected to the grid, an impact test must be conducted to determine its operating speed. The emergency governor impactor does not move for a long time during operation. To prevent jamming, the manufacturer stipulates that the unit should undergo a regular impactor fuel injection activity test after 2000 hours of continuous operation Due to the installation of the emergency governor in the front bearing box of the steam turbine, it is difficult to observe its status during testing, and it is difficult to determine whether the impactor is hit or not. The operating speed during overspeed testing cannot also be determined.
