Functional characteristics of GVH3 infrared intrinsically safe tearing sensor for mining
The tear sensor uses an infrared probe for detection, with emitters and receivers on the left and right sides respectively, to detect longitudinal tearing of the tape conveyor.  
When the belt conveyor experiences longitudinal tearing, if the height of coal leakage on the coal support plate of the tearing sensor exceeds 30mm, the relay contact signal will be output. When it is activated, the contact will close and an alarm signal will be output. After troubleshooting, the output contact is disconnected and the tear sensor automatically recovers.
