The Y5C and HY5C series metal oxide surge arresters with series gap series are composed of zinc oxide resistors with excellent nonlinear volt ampere characteristics and gap series connected with parallel resistance rings. In normal working condition, the voltage is jointly borne by the resistance ring and the zinc oxide resistor. Due to the voltage divider effect of the resistance ring, the burden of the zinc oxide resistor under working voltage is reduced, and the aging problem of the zinc oxide resistor can be basically ignored.

Due to the use of a special gap structure, the impact of external factors such as rain and dirt on the product has been eliminated.
