GW1-12G(D) series outdoor high-voltage isolation switchDetailed product description:

The GW1-12G (D) series outdoor high-voltage isolation switch is a new type of switch designed according to current national and international standards to address a series of issues with the original GW1 switch. The switch itself has a grounding switch and is equipped with a CS8 manual mechanism to effectively prevent misoperation such as "live grounding wire hanging and grounding wire closing". Operators do not need to hang another grounding wire. This product has excellent electrical and mechanical performance, meeting the requirements of national standard GB1985 and international electrical standards IEC129 and IEC694. It is an updated product of the current 10kV outdoor switch.
GW1-12G (D) series outdoor high-voltage isolation switch adaptability range
Switches are used for three-phase AC 50Hz circuits, for use in time division circuits with voltage and no load. The usage conditions are as follows: (1) The altitude should not exceed 3000m, and the ambient temperature should not be lower than -40 ℃ or higher than+40 ℃. (2) The wind speed shall not exceed 35m/s, and the seismic intensity shall not exceed 8 degrees. (3) Suitable for polluted areas such as cities and industrial and mining areas. (4) Not suitable for places with combustion and explosion hazards, severe vibrations and impacts, and chemical substances that severely corrode metals and insulation materials.

3. Main structure (1): The isolation switch is a three-phase electrical appliance composed of three separate single pole isolation switches. There are three structural forms: ungrounded, moving contact grounded, and stationary contact grounded. Each single pole isolation switch has the same components, such as the base pillar and the front and rear static contacts of the operating insulator, the switch blade, and the arc angle. Its appearance and main dimensions are shown in Table 2.
a. Base: The base is made of 4.5mm thick soft steel plate bent, with a shaft with a pull arm crossing the middle. There are holes drilled on the base for fixing the post insulator, installing grounding screws, and fixing each pole during installation. There is a slot on the top for the pull arm;
b. The pillars and operating insulators use ZPA-6 type (for 6 kV) and ZPA-10 type (for 12kV) pin insulators, with a minimum bending failure load of 375 and 500 kilograms. The middle operation insulator is used as a pull rod, with clamps fixed on the upper and lower parts, and the upper end connected to the switch blade. The lower end is connected to the pull arm;
c. Front and rear static contacts: The knife holder and tongue are made of purple copper plate and fixed on the post insulator. Extend the horizontal end for wiring purposes, while the bent upper part forms reliable contact with the switch blade on both sides of the wire;
d. Knife switch: Both 400A and 630A are composed of two rectangular cross-section copper plates, while the 200A is composed of one copper plate and one galvanized soft steel plate. Both ends of the blade are equipped with spiral springs to adjust the contact pressure;
e. Arc angle: It is composed of two 5mm steel needles. The stationary part is mounted on the blade tongue, and the movable part is mounted on the blade. (2) The CS8-5 manual knife operating mechanism is suitable for ungrounded switches and can be equipped with F1-4 auxiliary switches; The CS manual operating mechanism is suitable for grounding form isolation switches. It is a new type of single handle dual action manual operating mechanism, which can achieve the operation program of "main opening ground closing ground opening main closing" with one mechanism and one handle, without any misoperation.

5. Precautions for use (1) Inspection before operation: The contact parts of the conductor should be in good contact, the connection between the switch and the busbar should be reliable, and all moving parts should be flexible. (2) The switch must be operated only after the line load is cut off during operation. (3) The switch should undergo a comprehensive maintenance once a year, which mainly includes inspecting the conductive contact surface, lubricating the moving parts, replacing damaged components, and surface rust prevention treatment.

GW1-12/200.400.600 type isolating switch is operated by a CS8-1 manual operating mechanism, and the outline and main dimensions of the operating mechanism are shown in Figure 2. The F1 type auxiliary switch is fixed on the support plate of the operating mechanism, and its boom is connected to the Xiao Zi on the mechanism handle. When the handle is opened and closed by 120 degrees, the auxiliary switch is also opened and closed by 120 degrees. The auxiliary switch is generally used for signal indication and can also be used for electrical interlocking if necessary. The signal wiring is shown in Figure 3.
