The GW1 outdoor high-voltage isolation switch (hereinafter referred to as the isolation switch) is suitable for installation on outdoor 12kV lines, for use in the circuit when there is voltage and no load.  

The GW1-12 series outdoor AC high voltage isolation switch fully considers the different needs of users and comes in two forms: with grounding knife and without grounding knife. A switch with a grounding knife, equipped with a CS □ type manual mechanism, can prevent misoperation such as hanging a grounding wire when live and closing an isolation switch with a grounding wire. The operator also does not need to hang another grounding wire. This isolation switch has two types: ordinary type and anti fouling type. The anti fouling isolation switch can meet the requirements of severely polluted areas and effectively solve the problem of pollution flashover that occurs during the operation of the isolation switch. The product meets the requirements of standards such as GB1985 and GB/T11022.  

Structural characteristics:
The isolation switch consists of three single pole switches. Each single pole isolation switch has the same components, including a base pillar and an operating insulator
Edge, front and rear static contacts, switch blades, etc. According to user needs, those with grounding knives are equipped with CS □ operating mechanisms, while those without grounding knives are equipped with CS8-
Type 5 operating mechanism. The product has a large opening distance and is easy to operate and reliable.  
When there is no circuit breaker on the line or the circuit breaker fails, the isolating switch is allowed to be opened and closed in the following situations:;  
Separate and combine the voltage transformers used for measurement;  
Separate and combine the charging current on the busbar equipment;  
Separate and combine the no-load current of the power transformer (at this time, the capacity of the transformer shall not exceed 750kVA).
