structural characteristics
The self-priming plastic magnetic pump adopts an external mixed axial return water structure, and the pump body is composed of a suction chamber, a storage chamber, a volute shell, a return hole, a gas-liquid separation chamber, etc. After the pump is started, under the action of centrifugal force, the remaining liquid in the suction chamber and the air in the inlet pipeline are stirred into a gas water mixture by the impeller. The mixture enters the gas-liquid separation chamber through the volute shell, and as the flow rate slows down, it causes gas water separation. The air is discharged from the pump outlet, and the liquid returns to the pump through the return hole. After multiple cycles, the air in the inlet pipeline is completely discharged, forming a certain degree of vacuum in the pump and achieving self-priming.
Installation and use
1. Self priming pumps should be installed horizontally rather than vertically, and the pump body should not bear the weight of the pipeline. The pump and pipeline should maintain good sealing, and all fasteners should not be loose.
2. Unscrew the water adding bolt above the pump, add no less than two-thirds of the pump body volume of stored liquid water, and tighten the bolt.
3. Before using the pump, it should be checked that the motor rotates flexibly, the direction of rotation of the motor is consistent with the steering mark, and there is no jamming or abnormal noise.
4. After the motor starts, slowly open the discharge valve and adjust it to the desired opening after the pump enters normal operation.
5. Before the pump stops working, the discharge valve should be closed first, and then the suction pipe valve should be closed.
Precautions
1. Due to the fact that the cooling and lubrication of pump bearings rely on the medium being transported, it is absolutely forbidden to operate without a medium. At the same time, it is necessary to avoid operating without a medium when restarting after a power outage during operation.
2. If the conveying medium contains solid particles, a filter screen should be added before the pump inlet. If it contains ferromagnetic particles, a magnetic filter (which is produced by our factory and is an optional part) should be added.
3. The conveyed medium and its temperature should be within the allowable range of the pump material. The operating temperature of the self-priming plastic magnetic pump is less than 60 ℃, the inlet pressure is not greater than 0.1MPa, and the maximum working pressure is 0.6MPa;
4. For media that are prone to precipitation and crystallization during transportation, they should be cleaned promptly after use to drain the accumulated liquid in the pump.
5. After long-term operation of the self-priming plastic magnetic pump, it is found that the pump has abnormal conditions (loud noise, intensified vibration). The wear of the bearings and end face dynamic rings should be disassembled and inspected. If the clearance between the bearings and the pump shaft, or the axial movement of the impeller is large, the bearings and axial dynamic rings should be replaced.
