ZQP type steam exhaust muffler

The noise generated during steam and air venting is a common source of noise in industrial production, which is extremely strong and poses a great threat to people's health. The ZQP steam exhaust muffler series is an effective device for reducing this type of noise.

（1） Types of mufflers
1. Steam exhaust muffler
Suitable for steam exhaust and venting of boilers, steam turbines, steam generators, and steam pipelines. It can also be used to turn on other gases (such as air, superheated steam, saturated steam, nitrogen, oxygen, etc.), and can also be used for noise reduction of excess gas emissions from various air compressors and blowers. At present, there are two types of mufflers produced domestically: ZQP series and ZX series.

2. Gas exhaust muffler
Suitable for exhaust and venting of various gases such as air, nitrogen, and oxygen. Like YAP type.

3. Oil bath muffler filter
It is one of the main auxiliary equipment for reducing noise in air compressors. Its function is to filter impurities such as powder tips in the atmosphere and reduce the noise at the compression inlet. Widely used in piston air compressor stations and nitrogen oxygen stations. Like YZG type.

4. Selection of motor muffler
The DX series muffler is suitable for eliminating motor noise.

（2） Selection of muffler
(1) The selection of steam mufflers should be based on the pressure rating and model listed in the table, and should not exceed the listed pressure and temperature. When the pressure and temperature used are different from those listed in the table, the flow rate shall be calculated according to the following formula:


In the formula: G0, P0, V0- the discharge flow rate, steam pressure (absolute pressure), and steam specific volume of the muffler;
G1, P1, V1- actual emissions, steam pressure (absolute), and steam specific volume at the location where the muffler is used;

The muffler is used in the air, and its flow rate can be converted according to the following formula:



In the formula: G0, P0, V0- flow rate, pressure (absolute pressure), and specific volume of steam;
Ga, Pa, Va - air flow rate, pressure (absolute pressure), specific volume;

Va - Volume flow rate of emitted air, Nm3/h。
The muffler should be installed vertically, and whether support is needed depends on factors such as the quality of the muffler, the stiffness of the discharge pipeline, and the magnitude of stress, which are determined by the installation user. The response and vibration of the muffler itself are not significant.
The muffler should not be installed indoors, but should be placed in an open space outside the air.
⑸ The oil bath silencing filter should be matched with an air compressor with the corresponding displacement. Filters are generally installed outdoors, and their air inlet should be at least 1 meter above the top of the house, with a rain cover installed.
