The B-W type axial displacement (differential expansion) transmitter consists of an eddy current probe, an extension cable, and a preamplifier to form a system that can monitor the axial position of the rotor relative to the bearing shell. Can be connected to computers, DCS, PLC systems, paperless recorders and other equipment.
