           <description>Application of FZ series valve type lightning arrester:&lt;BR&gt;&lt;BR&gt;The FZ series 3-110kV valve type lightning arrester is a protective electrical device used to protect the insulation of AC substation equipment from atmospheric overvoltage damage.&lt;BR&gt;This applies to:&lt;BR&gt;1. Indoor and outdoor: The ambient temperature of the usage location is -40 ¡æ to+40 ¡æ;&lt;BR&gt;2. The altitude of the usage location shall not exceed 1000m;&lt;BR&gt;3. The maximum relative frequency voltage that may occur at the installation site should not exceed the rated voltage of the lightning arrester.&lt;BR&gt;It is not suitable for places with severe pollution and violent vibrations. &amp;nbsp;&lt;BR&gt;Structure and performance:&lt;BR&gt;The FZ series lightning arrester consists of three parts: top cover, basic components, and insulation base. In addition to the above three parts, the 110kV lightning arrester is also equipped with a voltage equalization ring. The basic components are sealed and equipped with spark gaps, valve plates, and pressure equalization resistors. A 35~110kV lightning arrester is composed of three standard basic components with voltages of 15, 20, and 30kV, as well as two other non-standard basic components with voltages of 15 and 30kV. The FZ series lightning arrester has two types of bases, and products with different voltage levels require bases of different heights.&lt;BR&gt;1. The lightning arrester is connected between the high-voltage wire and the ground. When atmospheric overvoltage occurs on the wire that poses a threat to the substation equipment, the spark gap will activate. Due to the action of the spark gap and valve plate, the amplitude of the overvoltage on the protected equipment is limited, the insulation of the equipment is protected, and the power frequency continuous current is cut off within 0.01 seconds, restoring the system to its political working state.&lt;BR&gt;(1) Conductance current measurement: Apply a direct current voltage (with a fluctuation of no more than &#177; 1.5%) specified in the characteristic table to both ends of the basic component, and the conductivity current flowing through the basic component should comply with the specifications in the characteristic table.&lt;BR&gt;(2) Insulation resistance test: Use a 2.5kV megohmmeter to measure the insulation resistance of basic components, and the resistance value is not specified.
