Overview
With the continuous development of China's power industry, there is an urgent need for various thermocouples and thermistors suitable for temperature measurement in power stations to replace imported products. Based on market demand, after soliciting opinions from design institutes and power plant users, and referring to the EBASCO standards in the United States, our company has designed and launched this series of products. Due to the use of a protective tube two-piece separation structure, all temperature sensing elements are armored and elastic compression is adopted, making the installation and use of this series of products more convenient, with shorter thermal response time, higher stability and reliability.
The WRKR series thermocouples are mainly used for temperature measurement of thermal power generation units and pipelines below 600000 kilowatts.

WRKR series thermocouple nominal pressure
Generally refers to the static external pressure that the protective tube can withstand without breaking at room temperature, and the test pressure is generally 1.5 times the nominal pressure. In fact, the allowable working pressure is not only related to the material, diameter, and wall thickness of the protective tube, but also to its structural form, installation method, insertion depth, as well as the flow rate and type of the measured medium.
Thermocouple insulation resistance
The test voltage for insulation resistance at room temperature is 500V DC. The atmospheric conditions for measuring insulation resistance at room temperature are: temperature of 15-35 ℃, relative humidity of 45% RH, and atmospheric pressure of 86-106kPa.
For thermocouples with a length exceeding 1 meter, the product of their insulation resistance at room temperature and their length should not be less than 100M Ω• m,
Namely: Rr • L>100M Ω• mL>1m
In the formula: Rr - the insulation resistance value of the thermocouple at room temperature, M Ω;
L - length of thermocouple, m。
For thermocouples with a length of 1 meter or less, their insulation resistance at room temperature should not be less than 100M Ω.
Thermal resistance insulation resistance
The test voltage for insulation resistance at room temperature can be any value between 10-100V DC, the ambient temperature should be within the range of 15-35 ℃, the relative humidity should not exceed 80% RH, and the insulation resistance value at room temperature should not be less than 100M Ω.
Thermal resistance allows current to pass through
The maximum current measured through a platinum resistor shall not exceed 5mA.
Hot sleeve thermocouple
Hot sleeve thermocouples are mainly used to measure the steam temperature of boilers or pipelines. In order to resist the impact of high temperature, high pressure, and high flow rate steam, an insertion depth of about 100mm is used. To avoid temperature measurement errors caused by insufficient insertion depth, a deep blind hole with a triangular surface is used to process the protective tube as a whole. The cylindrical heat sleeve is welded to the main equipment in combination, and the gap between the triangular surface and the inner hole of the heat sleeve is utilized to fill the heat sleeve with high-temperature medium, effectively increasing the insertion depth.

Smoke duct thermocouple
Thermocouples for flue and air ducts are mainly used for measuring the exhaust temperature of power plants. Its characteristic is the use of thicker protective tubes and large-diameter connecting threads to improve its ability to resist smoke erosion and exhaust fan vibration. Its measuring end adopts a reduced diameter to reduce thermal response time.
