Overview

The ED300 eddy current thickness gauge is a small and portable instrument. Stable performance, accurate measurement, good reproducibility, economical durability, in compliance with national standard GB/T4957, has passed multiple performance tests by the national technical supervision department, and obtained a manufacturing license for measuring instruments. License number: Liao Zhi 01030012. The standard substance of the instrument - film thickness calibration foil, is tested by Liaoning Provincial Institute of Metrology and accompanied by a test report issued by Liaoning Provincial Institute of Metrology. The instrument has been widely used in industries such as aluminum profiles, aluminum doors and windows, technical supervision, and engineering quality inspection in China, and has gained the trust and praise of users.

Scope of application
ED300 eddy current thickness gauge is used to measure the thickness of non-conductive coatings on various non-magnetic metal substrates. For example: anodized layer or coating on the surface of aluminum profiles, aluminum plates, aluminum tubes, aluminum-plastic panels, and aluminum workpieces. The instrument is suitable for rapid and non-destructive film thickness inspection of products at production, sales, or construction sites. *Film thickness correction film
The film thickness correction film is the measurement benchmark of the instrument. All film thickness correction films of this instrument have been tested by the technical supervision department and are accompanied by a test report. This is not commonly seen in instruments both domestically and internationally. It ensures the accuracy and reliability of instrument measurement.
*Probe
The most easily damaged component of the thickness gauge is the probe. This instrument has a special durability design for the probe, which has protective functions such as anti-collision, waterproof, and anti bending of the probe wire.
*Probe line
Due to the high frequency of instrument use, the probe wire becomes a vulnerable component. Generally, the probes of domestic instruments will malfunction shortly after use, with most problems occurring on the probe wires.
The probe wire used in the Tianxing thickness gauge is custom-made in Japan. This type of wire was originally used for robots and was designed to withstand millions of twists and turns. Practice has proven that this type of probe wire is rarely damaged due to frequent twists and turns.
