JTW type metal hose is an important connecting component in engineering technology, composed of corrugated flexible pipes, mesh sleeves, and joints. Metal hoses are used as compensating elements, sealing elements, connecting elements, and shock absorbing elements in various gas and infusion pipeline systems, as well as length, temperature, position, and angle compensation systems. They are applied in various fields such as aerospace, petrochemicals, mining electronics, mechanical shipbuilding, medical and health care, textile electronics, energy construction, etc.
China has issued the national standard "General Technical Conditions for Corrugated Metal Hoses" (GB/T14525-93) in 1993.
The metal hose is made of austenitic stainless steel material or materials according to user requirements. The metal hose has excellent flexibility, corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance (-235 ℃~+450 ℃), and high pressure resistance (up to 32MPa). The metal hose can be connected in any direction in the pipeline to compensate for temperature and absorb vibration, reduce noise, change the direction of medium transportation, eliminate mechanical displacement between pipelines or pipelines and equipment, etc. The double flange metal corrugated hose is particularly suitable for flexible joints of various pumps, valves, etc. with displacement and vibration.
There are two types of corrugated pipes used in JTW type metal hoses, one is spiral corrugated pipe; Another type is the circular corrugated pipe.
