The thin film strain gauge is composed of multiple layers (ceramic insulation layer, NiCr alloy resistance layer, Au pad, SiO2 protective layer) of sputtered thin film, with a total thickness of no more than 4 μ m. It is directly formed on the stainless steel elastic membrane using sputtering and etching processes, completely realizing the inorganic materialization of the sensitive element, overcoming the unstable factors such as creep, hysteresis, aging caused by organic adhesive tape, and greatly improving the long-term stability of the product.
