Product Usage

In thermal power plants, the steam turbine generator is the heart of the power plant. Exhaust check valve is a supporting product of steam turbine generator set. It is a specialized quick closing valve used to protect the steam turbine generator unit. Its function is to prevent the sudden decrease in internal pressure of the steam turbine unit during sudden load shedding, and the backflow of steam from the extraction pipe and various heaters into the steam turbine, causing the turbine blades, which rotate at a high speed of more than 3000 revolutions per minute, to suddenly reverse and run, resulting in the malignant accident of breaking the turbine blades and damaging the steam turbine generator. It also prevents water hammer accidents caused by leakage of the heater system pipeline, which allows water to enter the turbine from the extraction pipe.
