1、 Overview:
The BCQ-GL type lifting limiter is a professional safety protection device for lifting machinery, specifically designed for various models and specifications of electric hoist single beam cranes. This device has functions such as sound alarm, immediate alarm, cutting off the lifting motor circuit of the crane, and displaying the weight of the lifted object, which can avoid equipment and personal accidents caused by overload of the lifting equipment. Therefore, it has extremely important significance for the modernization of safety production in industries such as metallurgy, machinery, mining, railways, docks, and warehouses.
This product adopts advanced computer technology in its design, with automatic verification and zero point tracking capabilities. It has the advantages of strong functionality, compact structure, convenient operation and calibration, stable operation, and easy installation and maintenance.
2、 Main characteristics of limiters
2.1 Due to the use of advanced anti-interference devices and unique software design, this device has extremely strong anti-interference ability;
2.2 In order to facilitate installation, each component of this device has been calibrated with precision instruments according to technical standards in the factory, and generally does not require debugging during on-site installation (see Installation and Debugging section);
2.3 In order to facilitate accurate display of stability values, the limiter adopts software adjustment memory technology, which is convenient and intuitive for adjustment;
3、 Technical specifications of BCQ-GL type lifting weight limiter
3.1 Scope of application: Electric hoist single beam cranes of various specifications from 0.5T to 32T;
3.2 System error: less than ± 5% (F · S);
3.3 Alarm method: Sound and light alarm;
(1) Pre warning point: When the lifting weight reaches 90% of the rated lifting weight, an intermittent alarm sound (short sound) will be emitted to display the weight of the heavy object;
(2) Rated value alarm: When the lifting weight reaches 100% of the rated lifting weight, an intermittent alarm sound (long sound) is emitted to display the weight of the heavy object;
(3) Immediate alarm: When the lifting weight reaches 110% of the rated lifting weight, a continuous alarm sound will be emitted, the red indicator light will be on, and the power supply of the lifting contactor of the crane will be automatically cut off, displaying the weight of the heavy object;
3.4 Static strength of sensor: The static strength of the sensor is 1.5 times the rated load;
3.5 Working temperature: -20 ℃ to+60 ℃;
3.6 Relative humidity: 45% to 95%;

4、 Working principle
The BCQ-GL type lifting limiter consists of two main parts: sensors and controllers. When the lifting machinery lifts heavy objects, the weight is transmitted to the sensor, causing a slight voltage change in the sensor. After amplification by the instrument amplifier, it is converted into a digital signal by a high-resolution A/D converter. The digital signal is directly read by a single-chip computer, processed and converted into weight values. If the value is compared with the rated value and reaches 110% of the rated value, a pair of passive relay contact signals (normally closed) will be output to cut off the power supply of the lifting motor. In addition, the weight value can be sent to the controller for processing according to the controller's command, and the rated weight will be displayed. The lifting weight pre alarm and alarm sound will be generated. The working principle is shown in the diagram.
5、 Installation and debugging
5.1 Sensor installation: During installation, place the elastic body tightly against the steel wire rope, then manually place the pressure plate on the U-bolt to press down on the steel wire rope. Next, use a wrench to tighten the left and right nuts to press down on the steel wire rope, causing a slight deformation in its diameter. Finally, add one nut on each side and tighten it to prevent loosening. Too tight or too loose can cause inconsistent output signals from the sensor.
5.2 Installation of Controller: The controller can be installed on the flashlight door or in the driver's cab according to different needs. The controller and sensor are connected by a four core shielded wire, which is pre installed at the factory. The wire length can be determined according to user requirements, or an aviation plug can be configured for the user to assemble the wire themselves;
5.3 Connection: The weight limiter uses a four core shielded cable, with two wires (red and black) marked with "power" connected to AC 380V as the power line for the limiter. The two wires marked with "normally closed" (blue and yellow) are connected in series in the lifting contactor circuit. Attention: The power supply voltage is around 380V. The control contacts are normally closed.
5.4 Instrument Setting Instructions and Precautions
1. Sensors and controllers are connected through aviation plugins;
2. Power on display shows current range -0.5-; Enter measurement in two seconds. Indicates that the current range is 0.5T range.
3. Press and hold the "" key for more than two seconds to display the current range. Press the "" key once to change its range, which can be cycled as follows:
— 0.5 —; — 1.0 —; — 2.0 —; — 3.0 —; — 5.0 —;
— 10 —; — 16 —; — 20 —; — 32 —; After selecting the range, press the "" and "" keys simultaneously to save its range.
4. When there is no weight on the hook, it should display "0000". If there is a value displayed, press the "" key to remove the skin.
5. When lifting a certain amount of goods, a certain value is displayed. If it does not match the actual weight of the goods, press the "" key to correct it.
For example, lifting a 2T cargo and displaying 1.8T, press the "" key, use the "" and "" keys together, enter "02.00", press the "" key to exit, and the instrument will display 2.0T.
6. The alarm values will automatically change with the range, which are 90%, 100%, and 105% respectively, and users do not need to set them.
