Overview:
The HDG and HSG series glass electric furnace transformers are designed to be compatible with silicon molybdenum rod electric furnaces (glass electric furnaces) and are suitable for situations where power is isolated from low voltage output.

Purpose:
This product is used as a power supply for silicon molybdenum rods (glass melting) in front of the furnace.

Structural features:
The resistance of the silicon molybdenum rod electric heating element increases sharply with temperature. At the beginning of heating, the resistance of the electric heating element is small, and the required voltage is low, about 1/4-1/3 of the working voltage. Based on the positive characteristics of the working voltage, resistance, and temperature of the silicon molybdenum rod electric heating element, the transformer output voltage adopts a multi tap method to meet the working voltage required by the heating element at different temperatures, thereby improving the power factor of the power grid.
