Product Description: How to Translate
The TYS series chlorophyll meter can immediately measure the relative content of plant chlorophyll and display the measurement number on the instrument's LCD screen. The chlorophyll content in plant leaves indicates the condition of the plant itself. The leaves of plants with good growth will contain more chlorophyll, and the chlorophyll content is closely related to the nitrogen content in the leaves. Therefore, chlorophyll measurement values can also indicate the true nitrate demand of plants. This instrument is conducive to the rational application of nitrogen fertilizer, improving nitrogen utilization efficiency, and protecting the environment (preventing excessive nitrogen fertilizer from polluting the environment, especially water sources).
Measurement principle:
The TYS series chlorophyll meter determines the relative amount of chlorophyll in a leaf by measuring the transmittance coefficient of the leaf in two wavelength ranges. This means that the measurement value is calculated based on the amount of transmitted light from the leaf in the two wavelength regions where chlorophyll selects to absorb specific wavelengths of light.

Instructions for Use:
The following figure shows the block diagram of the TYS series chlorophyll analyzer operating panel

1. Power switch: ON is on; OFF is off;
2. Measurement head: Close the measurement head for measurement;
3. MEAS button: Press the MEAS button to measure;
4. LCD display screen: displays measurement results and other information;
5. AVG (Average Value) key: calculates the average value of data in memory;
6. DEL (Clear All Data) key: Clears all data from the instrument's memory;
7. DISP key: The data in the memory is displayed on the LCD screen;
8. Battery compartment cover;
9. Sample slot: Insert the sample here for measurement;
10. Finger mold: Press here to close the measuring head.
1. Self check operation (Every time the power switch is turned on, a self check must be performed before proceeding with other operations)
First, close the measuring head and ensure that nothing is clamped inside. Then, turn on the power switch and the chlorophyll meter will perform a self-test. The LCD display will show 100.0. When the display changes to 00.0, the self-test function is completed and measurement and other operations can be performed.
2. Other operations
⑴ Measure chlorophyll value
Insert the blade into the measuring head, then close it, press the measurement button, and the measurement result will be displayed on the LCD screen.
When performing measurements, the measurement data is automatically stored in memory, and the TYS series chlorophyll meter can store up to 30 data points. When the memory storage is full, the first data stored (the first data) is deleted, and the other data labels in the memory decrease. The 2nd to 30th data become the 1st to 29th data, and the new measurement value is stored as the 30th data. Note that all data in the instrument's memory is lost when the power is turned off.
⑵ Calculate the average of multiple measurements:
After pressing the average button AVG, the average value of multiple valid measurements is obtained and displayed on the LCD screen.
⑶ Display values collected multiple times
After pressing the display button DISP, the data stored in the memory will be displayed in a loop sequentially. During the display process, if the current displayed data is considered invalid, you can press the delete button to clear the current data as 00.0
⑷ Delete all stored data
After pressing the delete button DEL, all data in the memory will be cleared to 00.0.
