The UTG-100 ultrasonic sludge interface meter is designed specifically for continuous online monitoring of sludge interfaces in wastewater treatment processes. The instrument utilizes reliable ultrasonic echo detection principle to achieve real-time detection of sludge thickness, providing reliable data for process control of related processes, thereby optimizing process control processes such as sludge discharge and dosing.

working principle
The working principle of the instrument is shown in Figure 1.1. The sensor emits ultrasonic waves that reflect off the mud layer. By measuring the time between the emitted and reflected waves, the distance L1 from the sensor to the mud layer can be obtained. The distance from the sensor to the bottom of the pool is set by the user as L. This way, the thickness of the mud layer d=L-L1 can be obtained.
