JD090 electromagnetic flow sensor combines the advantages of foreign electromagnetic flow meters and is designed according to the actual usage situation in China. It can be used to measure corrosive liquids such as acids, alkalis, salts, or two-phase solids mixed with liquids, such as slurries, mud, wastewater containing a large amount of impurities, and media with high viscosity. It has been widely used in industries such as chemical, metallurgical, papermaking, pharmaceuticals, sugar manufacturing, textile, brewing, food, environmental protection, chemical fiber, and water conservancy.
Working Principle:
The electromagnetic flowmeter is designed based on Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction. A pair of detection electrodes are installed on the wall of the measuring tube where the axis of the measuring tube and the magnetic field lines are perpendicular to each other. When the conductive liquid moves vertically along the measuring tube in an alternating magnetic field, the magnetic field lines are cut by the conductive liquid, generating an induced potential. This induced potential is detected by the two detection electrodes on the measuring tube. Use the following formula to express:

In the formula: E - induced potential, K - coefficient related to magnetic field distribution and axial direction,
B - Magnetic induction intensity, V - Average flow velocity of conductive liquid, D - Distance between two electrodes.
Characteristics of JD090 Electromagnetic Flow Sensor:
The sensor adopts an integral welded structure with good sealing performance.
The structure is simple, reliable, with no movable parts, almost no pressure loss, and a long working life.
The sensor has no throttling components and no blockage, making it suitable for measuring two-phase flows with suspended solids, solid particles, fibers, etc. Additionally, due to its convenient cleaning and sterilization, it is particularly suitable for the food and pharmaceutical industries.
The measurement accuracy is not affected by changes in physical parameters such as pressure, temperature, density (including liquid-solid ratio), viscosity, etc. of the measured medium.
Adopting low-frequency binary rectangular wave excitation and sampling amplification technology, it has strong anti-interference ability, stable zero point, and reliable operation.
The instrument is sensitive, the output signal is proportional to the flow rate, and the range ratio is wide.
Low power consumption, the power consumption of the complete set of instruments is less than 30VA, regardless of the size of the sensor aperture.
The sensor can be provided with explosion-proof type (mixed explosion-proof type), with explosion-proof grade md Ⅱ BT4.
The sensor is compatible with the JD090 converter and can measure flow in both forward and reverse directions.
