The SYD-0334 Fine Aggregate Sand Equivalent Tester is designed and manufactured in accordance with the requirements specified in T0334-1994 "Fine Aggregate Sand Equivalent Test" of the industry standard JTJ 058 2000 "Code for Testing Aggregates in Highway Engineering" of the People's Republic of China. This instrument oscillates the sample cylinder in a transverse linear motion through an automatic mechanical shaker, and is suitable for determining the content of cohesive soil or impurities in fine aggregates to evaluate the cleanliness of the aggregates. The sand equivalent is represented by SE.
This instrument is suitable for natural sand, artificial sand, and stone nitrate used in asphalt mixtures and cement concrete, with a maximum aggregate particle size not exceeding 4.75mm (circular sieve 5mm).
