The SYD-0631 asphalt float tester is designed and manufactured in accordance with the requirements specified in T 0631 "Asphalt Float Test" of the industry standard JTJ052 "Test Regulations for Asphalt and Asphalt Mixtures in Highway Engineering" of the People's Republic of China. Suitable for determining the float of materials such as petroleum asphalt residue and coal tar pitch after distillation of slow setting liquid according to the requirements specified in T 0631 standard.
The float degree of asphalt is the time required for the sample to gradually soften and be broken by water in a specified float meter from being placed in a water tank at a certain temperature, expressed in seconds.
Unless otherwise specified, the test temperature for residue after distillation of liquid petroleum asphalt is 50 ℃, and the test temperature for coal tar pitch is 32 ℃ or 50 ℃.
