The CTM/BS-1 portable digital flux gate magnetometer probe consists of three mutually perpendicular flux gate sensors (D, H, Z). The H and Z sensors are equipped with magnetic compensation coils, which can compensate for magnetic fields in the H and Z directions over a large range. The three flux gate sensors measure the "vector" values of the geomagnetic field and interference magnetic field projected on their axis. The entire system is used to measure the change in magnetic field strength at any point in space. There are two ways to output the measured values of magnetic field strength: pointer type meter head indication and data acquisition system sampling, storage, and transmission.
