YYW differential vortex flowmeter is a primary instrument used to measure the flow of liquid, gas, and steam in pipelines. It is a new type of intelligent flow meter based on the principle of Karman vortex street, with on-site LCD display function and variable output current signal or frequency signal for recording, adjustment, and control. YYW differential vortex flowmeter can be divided into full tube type, insertion type, and separation type according to different usage scenarios. In situations where it is inconvenient to provide power, battery powered low-power intelligent on-site display types can be selected. The YYW differential vortex flowmeter adopts embedded technology, which can measure signals such as flow rate, pressure, temperature, etc. It has nonlinear correction function and adopts RS-485 communication interface and MODBUS communication protocol, making it very convenient for networking. The transmission function of YYW differential vortex flowmeter is suitable for various distributed control systems and can also be combined with an upper computer to form a flow data acquisition system.
Performance characteristics
Two pairs of four piezoelectric crystal elements form a differential structure, which improves the vibration resistance and signal-to-noise ratio of the instrument
Extend the lower limit of flow velocity measurement to achieve low lower limit flow measurement;
It has the function of tracking and compensating for the temperature and pressure of the measured medium, and can accurately measure the mass flow rate of the medium;
Environmental conditions: ambient temperature -40 to+60 ℃; Relative humidity ≤ 85% RH;
Medium temperature: -40 to+300 ℃;
Flow rate range: liquid 0.5-7m/s, gas 5-50m/s, steam 5-70m/s;
Measurement accuracy: Full tube ± 1.0%, insertion ± 2.5%;
Power supply voltage: locally displayed 1.5-3.6V battery

Key selection points
To ensure that the flowmeter operates under good characteristics, the following points should be noted when selecting a flowmeter:
1. The diameter of the flowmeter should be as small as possible to obtain a larger flow range and velocity;
2. The working pressure and temperature range of the tested medium should be within the technical parameter range;
3. The pressure loss coefficient Cd of the flowmeter is ≤ 2.4, and the flow pressure loss under working conditions can be estimated according to the following formula
ΔP =1.2×10-6ρV2
Δ P in the formula: pressure loss (MPa)
ρ: Fluid density under working conditions (kg/m3)
V: Flow velocity (m/s)
4. When the measuring medium is liquid, in order to prevent vaporization and cavitation, the minimum working pressure of the flowmeter should meet the following requirements:
P≥2.6ΔP+1.25P0

P0: Saturated vapor pressure of liquid (MPa)
