The BYKC-2000 transformer on load switch tester is a comprehensive measuring instrument used to measure and analyze the electrical performance indicators of power transformers and special transformer on load tap changers in power systems. It adopts computer control and can measure the transition time, transition waveform, transition resistance, three-phase synchronicity, and other parameters of the on load tap changer through a specially designed measurement circuit. Users can directly measure them through the tap changer leads according to their needs and site conditions, or directly connect them through the transformer three-phase bushing and neutral point for measurement.
This instrument has functions such as analyzing, storing, and printing the measured data. Solved the problem of outdated measurement methods and lack of specialized testing methods for on load tap changers in current power transformers. The instrument is equipped with anti impact and overvoltage protection circuits. All external leads of the instrument are sent to the measurement circuit through a protection system, which can prevent damage to the instrument due to instantaneous discharge or wiring errors caused by large inductance.

Precautions for safe operation
1. Before using the instrument, be sure to carefully read this manual;
2. The operator of the instrument should have general knowledge of using electrical equipment or instruments;
3. This instrument can work normally within the range of ambient temperature -5 ℃~40 ℃ and relative humidity ≤ 80%. However, when used outdoors, it should be avoided from being exposed to rain or direct sunlight on the LCD screen;
4. There is a protective grounding wire on the power socket. Please insert the plug into the three eye socket with grounding wire.
5. The instrument outputs a maximum voltage of 24V. During on-site testing, connect all leads first and then turn on the instrument power;
When changing the wire clamp of the instrument, the power must be turned off. The instrument can be measured with a coil, but live measurement is strictly prohibited;
7. Two or more sets of wires cannot be connected together as one measurement, and unused wires must be open circuited;
After the test is completed, turn off the instrument first and then remove all wiring.
