Scope of application of ZX9 resistor

The ZX9 resistor is suitable for circuits with AC 50Hz voltage up to 660V or DC up to 440V. It is mainly used for starting, speed regulation, and braking of electric motors. The resistor is open type, with a rated heating power of 4.6kW, and is composed of iron chromium aluminum wavy resistor elements.
① The altitude shall not exceed 2500m.
② The temperature of the surrounding medium shall not exceed+40 ℃ and shall not be lower than -30 ℃;
③ When the relative humidity of the air at+20 ℃± 5 ℃ is not greater than 85%;
④ There are no gases or conductive dust in the surrounding medium that can corrode metals, damage insulation, or pose an explosion hazard;
⑤ There must be rain and snow protection equipment in areas that are not filled with water vapor;
⑥ In areas without severe vibrations or strong jolts.

structural characteristics
The ZX9 resistor series is assembled from 40, 48, and 96 resistor elements according to various specifications. The resistor elements are made of iron chromium aluminum alloy strip rolled into a wavy shape, and the structure is divided into three types according to their width: large, medium, and small. The large type has punched holes at the middle end for installation, and the two ends of the small size are directly connected. The connection of each resistor element is tightened with a fastening nut to ensure good contact resistance. When installing resistors, the resistor elements must be placed in a vertical position.
