SC (B) 11 epoxy resin cast dry-type transformer can be used as a replacement product for oil immersed distribution transformers, and is the most energy-efficient dry-type transformer of all kinds. It is particularly suitable for important places such as urban power grids, high-rise buildings, business centers, theaters, hospitals, hotels, tunnels, subways, underground power stations, laboratories, stations, docks, airports, and combination substations.
Product Features
SC (B) 11 is the first domestically produced low-noise and low loss resin wound coil dry-type transformer with a product model certificate. Due to advanced design, high-quality materials, scientific formulas, strict processes, and high standards of testing, the product has the following characteristics:
1. High voltage windings are made of copper wire, low-voltage windings are made of copper wire or copper foil, filled and wrapped with glass fiber felt, and poured with unfilled epoxy resin in a vacuum state. After curing, it forms a sturdy cylindrical whole with high mechanical strength, low partial discharge, and high reliability.
2. Flame retardant, explosion-proof, and non polluting to the environment. The insulation materials such as glass fiber used for winding coils have self extinguishing properties and will not generate arcs due to short circuits. Under high heat, the resin will not produce toxic or harmful gases.
3. The coil does not absorb moisture, and the iron core clamp has a special anti-corrosion protection layer, which can operate in 100% relative humidity and other harsh environments. Intermittent operation does not require dehumidification treatment.
4. High resistance to short circuits and lightning strikes.
5. The resin layer on the inner and outer sides of the coil is thin and has good heat dissipation performance. The cooling method generally adopts natural air cooling (AN). For transformers of any protection level, an air cooling system (AF) can be configured to improve short-term overload capacity and ensure safe operation.
6. Low loss, good energy-saving effect, economical operation, and maintenance free.
7. Small size, light weight, small footprint, low installation cost, no need to consider oil drainage tanks, fire prevention and firefighting facilities, and backup power sources.
8. Due to the absence of fire extinguishing or explosion hazards, it can be dispersed and installed in the load center, fully close to the power consumption point, thereby reducing line costs and saving expensive low-voltage facility costs.
Shell protection device
The shell material is made of stainless steel or aluminum alloy. The protection level reaches IP20 and IP23. The IP20 casing can prevent solid foreign objects with a diameter greater than 12mm from entering, providing further safety protection for the transformer. The IP23 casing also prevents water droplets from entering within 60 degrees of the vertical line, making it suitable for outdoor operation.
Note: The IP23 casing will reduce the cooling capacity of the transformer, with a decrease of about 5% for small capacity and about 10% for large capacity.
Temperature control, temperature display
The temperature control system consists of a temperature controller and PTC temperature measuring elements installed at the top of the low-voltage winding, which is the hottest point of the product, to measure and control the temperature of the transformer. If the temperature of the transformer winding is too high due to overload operation or fault, the temperature controller will send an alarm signal, and it will trip automatically when the temperature exceeds the safe value. When using forced air cooling, the temperature controller determines the operation or switching of the cooling fan based on the temperature of the winding.
The temperature display system directly displays the hot spot temperature of the winding during the operation of the transformer and can be used in conjunction with the temperature control system.
The temperature control and temperature display system can be installed at a certain distance from the transformer body, and the lengths of the temperature measuring element leads are:
Temperature control:<20m
Temperature display:<10m (two-wire system)
<100m (two-wire system with compensating wire)
