Scope and Application
The QBC series mining explosion-proof electromagnetic starter is suitable for underground coal mines or industrial and mining enterprises with explosive gas mixtures (methane) and coal dust. It is used as a local or remote control for starting or stopping mining explosion-proof three-phase squirrel cage asynchronous motors in power systems with AC 50Hz and voltage up to 660V. At the same time, it provides overload, short circuit, phase failure, leakage lockout, and voltage loss protection for the motor and related circuits. This series of starters is particularly suitable for coal mining machinery equipment that requires frequent operation and heavy loads, as well as for industrial and mining enterprises with similar explosive gas mixtures.

Structural Overview
1. The QBC series starter consists of an explosion-proof shell and a body installed inside the shell.
2. The explosion-proof shell of the starter is welded with Q235-A steel plate, which is cylindrical in shape with a protruding bottom and cover. The shell cover and body adopt a rotating cover stopper structure. There is a reliable interlocking device between the shell cover and the isolation reversing switch handle, which ensures that the cover cannot be opened when the isolation reversing switch is closed; After the lid is opened, the isolation switch cannot be closed. There is a junction box on the upper part of the shell for introducing and extracting cables. The introduction device is used to tighten the nut or flange to make the rubber sealing ring tighten the cable to meet the explosion-proof requirements.
