Brief Introduction to the Structural Principle of PCY Axial Piston Pump

When the output pressure of PCY axial piston pump is less than the set constant pressure, it outputs pressure oil at full displacement, that is, quantitative output. When the pressure of the output oil reaches the set pressure, the pump flow rate is automatically adjusted to maintain the constant pressure and meet the requirements of the system. The output constant pressure value of the pump can be infinitely adjusted within the pressure regulation range as needed. The structure of the pump is shown in the above figure. This structure simultaneously delivers the output pressure oil to the lower chamber of the variable piston and the control oil inlet of the constant pressure valve. When the output pressure is less than the set constant pressure, the oil pressure thrust acting on the constant pressure valve core is less than the set spring force, and the constant pressure valve is in the open state. The pressure oil enters the upper chamber of the variable piston, and the variable piston pressure is at the lowest position. The pump outputs pressure oil at full displacement: when the pump is working at the set pressure, the oil pressure thrust acting on the constant pressure valve core is equal to the set spring force, and the inlet and outlet of the constant pressure valve are also in the open state, so that the oil pressure thrust of the upper and lower chambers of the variable piston is equal, and the variable piston works in a balanced position. If the hydraulic damping (load) increases, the oil pressure Turn up the valve, turn down the oil inlet, and the pressure in the upper chamber of the variable piston decreases compared to the lower chamber The variable piston moves upward, and the flow rate of the pump decreases until the pressure drops to the set constant pressure. At this point, the variable piston works at the new equilibrium position. On the contrary, if the hydraulic damping (load) decreases, the oil pressure drops instantly, the inlet of the constant pressure valve opens larger, the outlet closes smaller, the oil pressure in the upper chamber of the variable piston increases compared to the lower chamber, the variable piston moves downward, and the flow rate of the pump increases until the pressure rises to the set constant pressure.
