The VGT pneumatic V-shaped regulating ball valve is a right angle rotary regulating valve, which consists of a GT pneumatic piston actuator (single and double acting) and a V-shaped ball valve. There are two types of sealing formalism: soft sealing and metal hard sealing. Due to its right angle rotary structure, the pneumatic V-shaped regulating ball valve has a strong shear effect when the valve core rotates relative to the valve seat, making it particularly suitable for regulating and controlling media with fibers and small particles. Widely used in industries such as petroleum, chemical, power, papermaking, metallurgy, etc.
1、 Structural principle
1.1 Structure:
The pneumatic V-shaped regulating ball valve consists of a pneumatic piston actuator and a V-shaped ball valve
Composed of two parts, the pneumatic piston actuator is divided into single acting and double acting types
Two types. The sealing forms of V-shaped ball valves are soft sealing and hard sealing.
1.2 Action principle:
a. When the pneumatic piston actuator is double acting:
The air source signal pressure output by the double acting locator is respectively input into the left and right chambers of the actuator piston. Due to the different air source pressures input into the left and right chambers of the piston, a pressure difference is formed, which drives the piston to move in a straight line. Through gear and rack transmission, the linear motion of the piston is converted into the rotational motion of the actuator spindle until the pressure in the left and right chambers is balanced and the motion stops. At the same time as the actuator rotates, it drives the valve stem and valve core to rotate, in order to change the flow area between the valve core and valve seat and achieve the purpose of regulation.
b. When the pneumatic piston actuator is single acting:
The gas signal pressure output by the single acting locator is input into the air chamber on the springless side of the actuator. Under the action of the difference between the thrust and spring force formed by the gas signal pressure acting on the piston, the cylinder piston moves linearly and is transmitted through gears and racks. Until the thrust generated by the gas signal pressure is balanced with the spring force, the motion stops. At the same time as the main shaft of the actuator rotates, it drives the valve stem and valve core to rotate, thereby changing the flow area between the valve core and valve seat to achieve the purpose of regulation.
2、 Characteristics:
Due to the simple flow path and low flow resistance of V-shaped ball valves, their flow capacity is relatively large.
There are two types of notches on the V-shaped ball valve core, namely the V-shaped with approximately equal percentage flow characteristics and the U-shaped with approximately linear flow characteristics. Therefore, flow control with different flow characteristics can be achieved without the need for locator adjustment.
The adjustable ratio can reach 300:1, far greater than that of straight through single and double seat regulating valves.
It has a high sealing level, and the leakage level of the soft sealing structure is GB/T4213VI level. The leakage level of the hard work sealing structure is GB/T4213IV level.
The transformation of positive and negative action modes is relatively convenient. Simply rotate the initial position of the valve core by 90 ℃ to achieve the conversion of action modes.
Simple structure and easy maintenance. Small in size and easy to install.
