2. Operation steps
1、 Operation steps of infrared photoelectric switch
Fix the photoelectric switch so that it is facing the object to be detected. Adjust the sensitivity knob to adjust the detection distance of the photoelectric switch. If the sensitivity knob is set from low to high, the detection distance can be increased from 0mm to the maximum detection distance of the model.
2、 Operation steps of iconic photoelectric switch
Secure the photoelectric switch to ensure that the detection distance meets the requirements. Determine the light source based on the packaging paper and color code you use, and then determine the brightness or darkness of the output mode according to your mechanical needs. Finally, adjust the sensitivity according to the following three steps (using the output brightness mode, packaging marked as light color, and background marked as dark color as an example).
(1) Move the packaging paper so that the projection light falls on the back area after the mark, rotate the sensitivity in reverse, and then slowly rotate clockwise until the indicator light is just on. Remember the position of the potentiometer (point A) at this time.
(2) Move the packaging paper again so that the projection point falls in the center of the mark. At this point, the indicator light will turn on. Then slowly rotate the adjustment knob counterclockwise until the indicator light just goes out. Remember the position of the knob at this time (point B).
(3) After completing the above two steps correctly, turn the potentiometer to the middle C position between points A and B, and the adjustment is complete. A. The larger the distance between point B, the greater the color difference and the more stable the detection. But points A and B should have a distance of at least one square, otherwise the detection will be unstable.

4. Notes
1. When the color difference between the packaging paper label and the back is low (such as white and light yellow), or when your machinery requires a photoelectric switch response time of less than 2ms, we recommend using our Z3N series products.
2. Before powering on, it is necessary to check whether the power supply used complies with DC12-24V ± 10%, with a maximum of 30V, otherwise it may damage the photoelectric switch.
3. When adjusting sensitivity, use a small screwdriver and avoid excessive force, otherwise it may damage the potentiometer and affect the operation of the photoelectric switch.
4. When detecting high reflection coefficient paper surfaces (such as aluminum foil, etc.) with a signature switch, it is allowed to install the photoelectric switch at a 15 degree angle to the detection paper surface to ensure the best detection effect.
5. To ensure the high stability testing of the logo type photoelectric switch, two points must be ensured: first, the testing distance should meet the specified rated testing distance to ensure that the packaging material works normally within the allowed up and down vibration area; The second is to strictly adjust the sensitivity according to the operating steps. And every time the packaging materials are changed, they should be readjusted.
6. During installation, strong light should be prevented from directly entering the optical lens or appropriate shading measures should be taken.
7. The temperature, humidity, vibration, impact, and other corrosive gases in the working environment may affect the operation of the photoelectric switch. Please try to eliminate these effects as much as possible.
8. Pay attention to the cleanliness of optical lenses and try to avoid installing them upright to reduce dust.
