Purpose:
The SJTU series impulse voltage generator is mainly used for conducting lightning impulse voltage full wave, lightning impulse voltage cutoff, operation impulse voltage wave, and steep wave impulse voltage tests on power equipment and other test samples to test insulation performance.

Performance of SJTU series impulse voltage generator:
The 1200kV/2400kV and 4800kV series impulse voltage generators can generate three types of impulse voltage waveforms: standard lightning full wave, operation wave, and lightning cut wave. The 1200kV series impulse voltage generator can generate eight types of impulse voltage waveforms: standard lightning wave, operation wave, lightning cut wave, oscillating lightning wave, oscillating operation wave, steep wave of line insulators, steep wave of composite insulators, and induced operation wave of transformers. The technical indicators comply with national standards and IEC standards. It has passed ministerial level appraisal and its main technical performance is in a leading position in China, reaching the advanced level of similar international products.

Characteristics of SJTU series impulse voltage generator:
1. The complete set of equipment is fully equipped with complete voltage levels;
2. The impulse voltage generator has a small inductance in the circuit and adopts impedance filtering measures. It can still generate standard impulse voltage waveforms under the maximum load of large capacitors, with a large load capacity. It is the first of its kind in China and has been applied in scientific research and enterprise units;
3. The voltage utilization coefficient is high. The lightning wave and operation wave are not less than 90% and 80%, respectively;
4. The impact body has a compact structure, beautiful appearance, convenient wave adjustment, single operation tube, good synchronization performance, and reliable action;
5. Adopting thyristor or LC constant current charging automatic control technology, with high degree of automation and strong anti-interference ability;
6. The cutoff delay adopts electronic delay adjustable circuit or L-C delay method;
7. Computer controlled testing (fiber optic) system. The first and only one registered with the National Copyright Administration and evaluated according to GB/T and IEC standards.
