FKW □ -12/630 outdoor pole mounted load isolation switch (hereinafter referred to as the switch) is suitable for systems with a rated voltage of 10kV and AC 50Hz. It is used for breaking and closing load currents, as well as for cutting off and closing no-load electrical lines of IOkV voltage transformers. This switch can be equipped with manual or electric operating mechanisms and is an advanced and reliable outdoor switch equipment for terminal protection of 10kV lines today. Product Features
The FKW □ -12/630 load switch is mainly composed of an arc extinguishing chamber, an isolation switch, a post insulator, and a manual mechanism. The arc extinguishing chamber is based on the principle of gas generation arc extinguishing. It uses a spring energy storage device. The current carrying parts of the dynamic and static contacts of the isolation knife switch are made of hard copper. The manual mechanism performs opening and closing operations on the load switch through a connecting rod, and the speed of operation is independent of the speed of load cutting and closing. Push the spring energy assist rod on the arc extinguishing chamber with the finger to open the switch for energy storage, and open the moving contact to a certain position. Separate the finger from the spring energy assist rod, reset the spring, and quickly disconnect the current in the arc extinguishing chamber.
The operating mechanism is manually operated. The switch can also be operated by using an electric mechanism driven by a connecting rod to drive the crank arm. The opening and closing of the switch is driven by the connecting rod driven by the electric operating mechanism. The electric mechanism uses AC and DC power sources and is selected by the user at the time of ordering.
