Function and Function
This product adopts integrated circuits and is designed in combination with the hierarchical lifting of water levels in the upper and lower water tanks (water towers) of high-rise buildings. It has functions such as joint control of upper and lower water tanks, water tank drainage, and water shortage protection. It can automatically replenish and drain the water tank, and effectively prevent overflow of the water tank due to high water level or damage to the water pump due to idling. It is a practical product for both industry and schools. A water tower well water supply project that is very suitable for urban, rural, school, industrial and mining enterprises, institutions, and households. It is widely used in industries such as printing and dyeing, chemical, food, brewing, beverages, and sugar production.
Installation Instructions for Single Control Water Tank Probe
The installation diagram is shown in Figure 1
A (red line) - is the upper limit liquid level control point of the upper water tank (water tower). When the water level rises to point A, the water comes into contact with the probe, and the water level controller automatically shuts off the pump;
B (blue line) - is the lower limit liquid level control point of the upper water tank (water tower). When the water level drops below the water level at point B, the water and probe are out of contact, and the water level controller automatically starts the pump, filling the water tank with water
C (black line) - is the ground wire of the water tank (water tower), placed at the lowest point of the water tank and in contact with the bottom of the water tank;
Connect point D (green line) and point E (yellow line) to point C.
Installation instructions for single control water tank (i.e. drainage tank) probe
The installation diagram is shown in Figure 2:
E - is the upper limit liquid level control point of the lower water tank. When the water level rises to point E, the water comes into contact with the probe, and the water level controller automatically starts the pump to drain the water tank; If there is no drainage, point E will not be connected;
D - is the lower limit liquid level control point of the lower water tank. When the water level drops to point D, the water and probe are out of contact, and the water level controller automatically shuts off the pump, the water tank stops draining;
C - is the ground wire of the pool, placed at the lowest point of the pool in contact with the bottom of the pool; A. Point B is not connected.
Installation instructions for water shortage protection probe
The installation diagram is shown in Figure 3
C. Point D is the lower limit water level control point of the pool. When the water level drops to the lower limit water level, one of the C and D probes disengages from the water surface, and the water level drops
The controller relay immediately activates, cuts off the output, and the water pump stops working; Short circuit between point E and point C; A. Point B is not connected.
troubleshooting
1. Power on does not work:
a. Check if the red power indicator light is on. If not, check if the input and output terminals are in good contact;
b. Open the product and check the fuse on the control board inside the product. If it has been burnt out, replace the fuse with 0.15~0.30A.
c. Check the "manual/automatic" switch on the left side of the product to see if it has been adjusted back to the "automatic" position and the water level controller has entered the working state.
2. The water level line exceeds or falls below the probe control point, and the water pump does not automatically turn off or on. Please manually control the water pump by pressing the "Auto/Manual" switch. And check:
a. Whether the probe deviates from its original position and is placed too high (too low), causing the water level to be unable to contact (detach);
b. Whether the probe connection is misaligned with other wires, and whether there are any misconnections or short circuits;
c. Is the connection between the probe wires well connected;
d. Has the C-point ground wire been placed at the lowest position of the pool.
Installation of joint control probe for upper and lower water tanks
Installation instructions for the joint control probe of the upper and lower water tanks
The installation diagram is shown in Figure 3:
A - is the upper limit liquid level control point of the upper water tank (water tower). When the water level rises to point A, the water comes into contact with the probe, and the water level controller automatically shuts off the pump;
B - is the lower limit liquid level control point of the upper water tank (water tower). When the water level drops below point B, the water and probe are out of contact, and the water level controller automatically starts the pump, filling the water tank with water;
C - is the common ground wire for the upper and lower water tanks (water tower), placed at the lowest point of the upper and lower water tanks and in contact with the bottom of the water tank;?
D - is the lower limit liquid level control point of the lower water tank. When the water level drops to point D, the water and probe are out of contact, and the water level controller automatically shuts off the pump, the water tank stops draining;
E - is the upper limit liquid level control point of the lower water tank. When the water level rises to point E, the water comes into contact with the probe, and the water level controller automatically starts the pump and the water tank head; If there is no drainage, point E will not be connected
Installation and use of other instructions
1. To ensure the normal operation of the water level controller, please check again after installation whether the input and output wiring and probe connection wires are in reliable contact. The probe can be moved up and down to make contact and detach from the water surface, simulating the detection of whether the water level controller is installed correctly and can work normally according to your needs.
2. It is recommended to fix the probes at each point on the inner wall of the water tank to avoid displacement of the probe position, which may cause the water level controller to malfunction. (If the water tank wall is made of metal, it is not advisable to connect it to the inner wall except for the ground wire at point C, in order to avoid short circuits and prevent the water level controller from working properly.).
3. After connecting according to the above wiring method, check the "manual/automatic" switch on the right side of the product (DF-96D not available) to ensure that the water pump can be manually turned on and off according to user needs. After use, adjust it back to the "automatic" position and the water level controller will enter the working state.
4. To temporarily turn on or off the water pump, please use the "manual/automatic" switch on the right side of the water level controller (DF-96D model does not have a manual switch).
5. To avoid misoperation, do not install the product in a damp, corrosive, or high metal content gas environment.
6. We suggest that you use the specialized probe for the water level controller produced by the company.
