UQK-01, UQK-02, UQK-03 Floating Ball Level Controllers
The float level controller, also known as the float level switch, is the simplest and most practical level control switch. According to its installation form, it can be divided into side mounted type (side horizontal installation) and top mounted type (top vertical installation). Meanwhile, BUQK-01、 The 02 and 03 models are explosion-proof float level controllers that can withstand pressures up to 4MPa. Specially suitable for liquid level control or alarm in flammable, explosive, sealed high-pressure environments.
Purpose:
The UQK type (UQK-01, UQK-02, UQK-03) is suitable for controlling liquid level switches in open or sealed containers during industrial production processes. When the liquid level reaches the high and low limits, the relay contacts can serve as signal alarm devices or switches in circuits such as electric pumps.
Installation and use of float level controller:
1. The UQK-01/02/03 floating ball level controller is connected to the controlled container using a non-standard convex flange. Users should configure the corresponding lower flange (flange) during installation
2. UQK-01/02 type is installed horizontally, while UQK-03 type is installed vertically
The setting of the action range of UQK-02 type belongs to graded adjustment, with a maximum action range of 550mm
During installation, the UQK-03 type container cover should be removable due to its floating ball diameter being larger than the flange hole diameter. The setting of the action range of UQK-02 model belongs to stepless adjustment, with a maximum action range of 1000mm
5. The controller is a non waterproof structure and should not be used outdoors.
6. When installing the controller, the metal casing should be reliably grounded (usually connected to a flange) to ensure electrical safety.
7. The controlled medium should not contain magnetic impurities, and the fluctuation frequency of the liquid level should not be too high.
8. Instruments in use should be checked regularly.
Principle
The UQK type consists of two main parts: a floating ball group and a contact group that are isolated from each other. When the measured liquid level rises or falls, the floating ball 1 rises and falls accordingly, causing the magnetic steel 2 at its end to swing up and down. Through magnetic force, the magnetic steel 4 with the same magnetic pole installed inside the housing 3 is repelled from swinging up and down, and the moving contact 5 at its other end is connected or disconnected between the stationary contacts 1-1 and 2-2.
The principle of float level controller float switch is as follows:
Liquids all have buoyancy, and the float system (usually with corresponding auxiliary equipment) is made according to the buoyancy of the liquid. When the liquid level rises, the float system also rises accordingly, and similarly, when the liquid level drops, it also drops accordingly. When it rises or falls to the set position, the float system will hit the travel switch (or other microelectronic devices) at the set position, causing the travel switch to emit an electrical signal. When the electronic control equipment receives the electrical signal, it will immediately act, cut off or connect the power supply, forming an automatic control system.
