I. Overview
YBYB-40 portable explosion-proof single-phase oil drum electric pump is suitable for extracting and transporting non corrosive liquids such as gasoline, kerosene, diesel, engine oil, etc. from the drum in places where the explosive mixture of flammable gases or vapors with air and ignition temperature group not lower than T4 group is formed in factories with explosion transmission capacity not higher than B level, and in general places. Its flow rate is 40m3/h.

The YBYB-40 oil drum pump is driven by a YBYB6312 explosion-proof oil drum electric pump capacitor operated asynchronous motor. The pump is connected to the motor through the pump seat, and the motor shaft is connected to the pump shaft through an elastic coupling. The two ends of the pump shaft are supported by bearings, and the upper bearing seat is equipped with a skeleton seal to prevent liquid from entering the motor part. The impeller rotates counterclockwise when viewed from the pump suction port.


4、 Instructions for use
1. The use of the electric motor is detailed in the "YBYB6312 Explosion proof Oil Bucket Electric Pump Capacitor Operation Asynchronous Motor Product Use and Maintenance Manual".
2. Before using the oil drum pump, the power should be turned on and the motor switch should be twisted to check whether the electric pump is running normally and whether the impeller rotation direction is correct.
3. The oil drum pump should be gently inserted and removed to avoid intense friction between the pump body and the oil outlet edge of the oil drum.
4. After turning the motor switch and waiting for the pump to start, check whether the flow rate and head are normal, and check the operation and temperature rise of the motor.
5. Immediately stop the machine after pumping a bucket of oil. If the electric pump is not in operation for a long time, the power should be disconnected. The oil bucket pump should never run dry.

5、 Maintenance and repair
1. The oil drum pump should be regularly inspected and cleaned, and the casing should not accumulate dust and dirt.
2. The oil drum pump should be cleaned once after running for about 5000 hours, and ZL3 Zhong Quan lubricating vinegar should be added, with a dosage of about 1/2 of the bearing cavity. When the bearing life is over, it should be replaced in a timely manner. The upper bearing specification is 80018 and the upper end is 101.
3. If it is necessary to replace the impeller, the impeller and pump nozzle must be adjusted properly. The distance between the impeller and the pump body.

6、 Storage and transportation
Oil drum pumps should not be affected by moisture or chemical corrosion during transportation or storage. They should be kept dry and ventilated during storage to avoid sudden changes in ambient temperature.
